Myofascial Release

Myofascial Meridians are connections of connective tissue throughout the body that act like a net or web, holding everything in place.  Fascia surrounds each individual muscle, supports your organs, and runs just below your skin.  With prolonged poor posture or an injury, your fascia can be lengthened or shortened in a dysfunctional way.  Pain and discomfort can result from this.

Your therapist is trained to perform myofascial release techniques in order to increase blood flow, mobility, and function throughout your body as a whole.  Many of these techniques are very light and can be quite relaxing, while others can cause some discomfort.  All techniques are done within the client’s pain tolerance.
